Privacy Policy

At VentaFlow Insights we are committed to protecting your privacy. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it and what controls you have over it. It applies to both the ventaflowinsights.com website and the "VentaFlow Insights" Chrome extension.
1. Data we collect
We collect: (a) email and, when you sign in with an OAuth provider, the name associated with your account; (b) payment identifiers handled exclusively by Paddle (we do not store card numbers); (c) history of searches analyzed by the extension so we can link them to your account and show you the history; (d) basic technical usage data (logs, errors, truncated IP) to detect abuse and improve the service.
2. Data we do NOT collect
The extension does NOT read or save your general browsing activity, does NOT access sites outside the supported marketplaces, does NOT sell or share your data with third parties for advertising, and does NOT capture personal information from the pages you visit (only public aggregates from listings).
3. How we use the data
We use the data exclusively to: (a) authenticate your account and apply your plan; (b) process payments through Paddle; (c) sync analysis history between your devices; (d) send operational communications (renewal, service changes); (e) detect and prevent abuse. We do NOT use your data to train AI models or for advertising profiling.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase (managed PostgreSQL, US/EU hosting) with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Passwords are stored with one-way hashing. We restrict internal access to data to strictly necessary personnel.
5. Third parties we share data with
We only share data with providers strictly necessary to operate the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Paddle (payment processing), Google (when you sign in with Google OAuth) and transactional email providers. Each one processes your data under their own privacy policies.
6. Your rights
You may at any time: access your data, correct it, export it, request its deletion, withdraw consent or cancel your subscription. To exercise these rights, write to ventaflowinsights@gmail.com and we will respond within a maximum of 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and to remember your language. We do NOT use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Extension permissions
The extension requests Chrome permissions only to function: read session cookies from ventaflowinsights.com (to sign you in), local storage (cache and configuration), active tab and scripting (inject the analysis panel), and downloads (export CSV). It only runs on supported marketplaces, not on other sites.
9. Third-party trademarks
VentaFlow Insights is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mercado Libre, Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon or eBay. Names and logos belong to their respective owners and are mentioned only to indicate compatibility.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will modify the "last updated" date and, if changes are substantial, we will notify you by email or from the dashboard before they take effect.
11. Human-in-the-loop
VentaFlow Insights is a decision-support tool. The data shown (estimated sales, scores, Amazon proxies, etc.) does not replace your commercial judgment or verification on the marketplace. The extension reads public information visible on search results and product pages; it does not execute purchases, listings, or automated bids; it does not guarantee accuracy of sales or real-time SERP positions. Before investing in stock, pricing, or ads, validate on the marketplace site: final price, shipping, seller reputation, and real demand.
